ProductDesignResources.com was recently launched.  ProductDesignResources.com is a comprehensive resource guide site for product designers, engineers, project managers, and product marketers. You'll find original articles and guides, links to articles, guides, textbooks, and resources outside of Product Design Resources, and eventually more interactive content, interviews, and in-depth how-to guides for all areas of product design.

At Product Design Resources, we believe that good information can be low or no cost.  A lot of great information already exists, but why spend hours scouring the web for it, when we've already brought it all together here.  And what isn't on the web, we'll fill in with our own expert knowledge or find the expert to help us build the ultimate complete product design resource manual.  

Product design is a broad term, but the focus at Product Design Resources will be physical products intended to have a human user. The site explores issues relating to product design at all phases from concept, design and manufacture, to launch and post-market support. The ultimate goal of Product Design Resources will be to improve the visitor's knowledge of what great product design is and how to create product designs that succeed in the marketplace. There are many sites out there that will keep you updated of the latest advances in the field, but most lack the essential how-to knowledge to execute great product designs. Product Design Resources will try to minimize the fluff, and provide primarily free resources to real working knowledge.
