    hydraulic pump design

I am beginning to work on a new development project that will require a small hydraulic pump. It will need to have a shaft out both ends of the pump. The project is confidential and I have no hydraulics back ground so the information I can share at this point is limited. At this stage I believe I will need a high pressure pump small in diameter. I would like for the O.D. of the pump to be about 4" with a shaft diameter about .500" could be larger.. The length of this pump would be desirable to be less than 6".  I have the ability to build this pump if it becomes too special. I will be testing the product soon and was hoping to purchase something off the shelf. The other piece of the equation is I will need a rotary actuator. Again probably small in size and have the ability to rotate up to about 250 rpm's. Shaft size of .375-.500"There will be load on this shaft of less than 200 lbs. This 30" diameter shaft will have a spindle through the center with roller bearings and an OD of 1.500". Is there anyone out there that can assist me or forward information on where to find something like this? Or where I can search to find Hydraulic pump design information I can use to build this?

Take a look at the "Designers Guide" under Pumps at this site"
