 I am new her to Machine Design forums. I am a student at an engieering school and I am in a major class, Mechine Design 1. I have a project about stress analysis.

I am performing a stress analysis on a part of an elliptical (exercise) machine, specifically, the center shaft and the side shaft connected to the foot pedal that spins. Sice the machine part is in fatigue, I need help in properly placing my forces and transversing my forces across the part so I can properly calculate stresses. I have pictures of the part. I really appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.
